Five Sunday afternoons: May 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, and June 3rd, 2:00-4:00pm.

Meditation in Everyday Life, the first class in The Way of Shambhala series, introduces students to peaceful abiding meditation while offering practical suggestions for developing a meditation practice at home. This core path course is designed to complement Shambhala Training Level I, although you do not have to have taken Level I to attend MIEL.
Through talks, contemplations, and discussion groups, we will explore the ways that mindfulness meditation might influence our daily lives, our health, and our society. There will also be an opportunity to discuss the challenges students face in their personal meditation practice.  This program is open to everyone. There are no prerequisites.
You must pre-register.  Tuition is $50 for the course, but if you are concerned about finances for yourself or others, please contact the course coordinator, Claire Dana, ([email protected], 317-989-0372) to learn about our generosity policy.
The classes will be held in the gallery space of Healing Arts Indy, at  HAI, 805 S. Meridian St, Indianapolis, 46225.   We regret this building is not completely accessible (single step up into the building, no parking place in immediate proximity to entrance); please contact Claire with any concerns you may have about this or other accessibility issues. Free parking is available in the lot adjoining the building.  Shapiro's Delicatessen is across the street.
*Please note* May 13th is Mother's Day; May 27th is the day before Memorial Day.
