CONTENTMENT IN EVERYDAY LIFE (CIEL) in Bloomington

Five Tuesday evenings: May 16, 23, 30, June 6, 13.    6:30-8:30pm.

This course is an exploration of mindfulness meditation and meditation in action in our daily lives.  With meditation practice we learn to appreciate ourselves and simple human experiences.  Difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, steadiness, and humor.

Through talks, contemplations, and discussion groups, we will explore the ways that mindfulness meditation might influence our daily lives, our health, and our society. There will also be an opportunity to discuss the challenges students face in their personal meditation practice.  This program is open to everyone.  There are no prerequisites.
