CONTENTMENT IN EVERYDAY LIFE (CIEL) in Indianapolis

Five Thursday evenings: May 25, June 1, 8, 15, 22.    7-9 pm.

This course is an exploration of mindfulness meditation and meditation in action in our daily lives.  With meditation practice we learn to appreciate ourselves and simple human experiences.  Difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, steadiness, and humor.

Through talks, contemplations, and discussion groups, we will explore the ways that mindfulness meditation might influence our daily lives, our health, and our society. There will also be an opportunity to discuss the challenges students face in their personal meditation practice.  This program is open to everyone.  There are no prerequisites.

Class size is limited.  You must pre-register.  Payment may be made at a later date. If finances affect your ability to participate, please contact Claire Dana ([email protected]) to learn about our generosity policy.

The classes will be held in the home of Arel (Ric) Good, 315 E. 10 Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202.  Parking is available along the south side of 10th St. or around the corner on either side of Alabama St.  Be aware that 10th St. is one-way going west.  Feel free to contact Arel for directions, particularly if you are not familiar with the area.
